Meet the Humans Behind the Treats: A Tail of Two Pet Lovers!

Scott and Heather White are the new faces behind this cherished pet store in Fort Atkinson Wi. Scott and Heather are excited to continue Mary and Erics service to the Fort Atkinson and surrounding communities.

Heather and Scott have had family pets their entire lives. They have fostered rescue dogs and have advocated for support and adoption through many local rescues. They hope to incorporate rescue awareness and donation through the store. Scott and Heather have run a small hobby farm in Milton for 14 years. They have three horses, a miniature horse and miniature donkey, and two 14-year-old barn cats that have decided to become house pets in their older age. Two of their horses have been rescued from Oklahoma kills pens. Heather and her daughter showed horses, but now these friends are living out their retirements as spoiled lawn grazers.

Heather was a Veterinarian Technician for 5 years and worked in a small and large animal clinic in Milton Wi. She has, and currently serves the Fort community as a RN at FortHC for 32 years. She was also a 4-H horse and pony leader for many years. Scott retired from the Water Department in Janesville after 32 years of service.

As Heather and Scott continue Mary and Erics passion, they are committed to honoring the tradition of excellent customer service and high-quality products, among these they have plans to introduce some new services that will enhance the shopping experience for their customers. They are currently working on a self-serve bath and spa area for dogs and hoping to have a small dog bakery with fresh baked treats for your pets, as well as grooming services in the future. Heather also hopes to add equine products to their inventory.

Heather and Scott are in the process of implementing a new website with the capability of website sales. They also hope to offer curbside pickup service and home delivery two days a week to the surrounding communities. Scott and Heather are excited to continue Mary and Eriks legacy keeping this a small family run business. We hope you will continue to grow with us.
